India and Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) share cordial relations since 1970 when diplomatic ties were established. Eswatini is a constitutional monarchy and Commonwealth member. India extends development cooperation through ITEC training, Lines of Credit, and the Renewable Solar Thermal Power (RSTP) project. India's High Commission covers Eswatini from Pretoria, South Africa.

India-Eswatini relations are cordial but operate at low intensity, consistent with Eswatini's small economic and geopolitical footprint. The RSTP project LoC is the flagship current engagement. ITEC and ICCR provide steady capacity building. India's High Commission in Pretoria covers the bilateral relationship. There is no resident Indian ambassador in Mbabane.
