FIPIC MEMBERPACIFIC ISLAND PARTNERCLIMATE SOLIDARITYITEC BENEFICIARY
The Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) and India maintain friendly diplomatic relations primarily through the Forum for India-Pacific Islands Cooperation (FIPIC), launched in 2014. Bilateral economic ties are minimal given FSM's small size and geographic remoteness, but India engages Micronesia as part of its broader Pacific island diplomacy, emphasising climate change solidarity, blue economy cooperation, and development assistance through ITEC capacity-building programmes.
